Sadah Espii Proctor is a New York City based director and sound/video designer working in theatre, immersive experiences, and virtual reality. She works as a video engineer for Blue Man Group and has worked with artists internationally from Spain, Greece, Haiti, Russia, and New Zealand.
Espii’s most notable collaborations have been with Kimbra and Sophia Brous with EXO-TECH, Katya Lee, Neycha, Sabine Blaizin (Oyasound), and Soul Science Lab. She has also received institutional support from Oculus, Malala Fund, Bushwick Art Studios, Margolis Method, NEW INC, Virginia Tech, Brooklyn College, and the European binaural audio consortium BINCI.
Espii’s aesthetic is influenced by Afrofuturism, Cyberpunk, and Visual Kei. It drives her work to embrace and challenge cultural norms, create imagined futures, and critique technology’s growing presence in society.
